185gsm Brown/Blue Tarpaulins

Our 185gsm brown/blue tarpaulins are heavy duty polyethylene covers designed to provide reliable protection against rain, and dirt. Manufactured with a 12 x 14 weave, these tarpaulins are waterproof, rotproof, shrink proof and offer UV protection. They are a substantial step up from our lightweight tarpaulins and medium weight tarpaulins but remain practical and easy to handle.

The reversible brow and blue design makes this tarpaulin highly versatile, with the brown side allowing the covers to blend naturally into gardens, woodland and other outdoor settings, while the blue side offers increased visibility where required, such as on busy construction sites, making covered materials and equipment easier to identify.

Built for Dependable Outdoor Protection

The 185gsm tarpaulin features aluminium eyelets around all four sides at 1-metre intervals, with plastic reinforced corners to provide secure fixing points. This allows the cover to be tied down evenly and securely, helping to prevent it from shifting or lifting in windy conditions. The reinforced corners provide additional strength where tension is likely when secured.

The tarpaulin is also rotproof, helping it withstand prolonged exposure to damp conditions without deteriorating, shrinkproof, helping it keep its size and shape during outdoor use, and UV protected, helping to reduce the effects of prolonged exposure to sunlight.

Choosing the Right Size

All given sizes are 'cut sizes', which is the industry standard terminology for the size of the material before it is fabricated into a tarpaulin. Therefore the 'finished' size may be up to 30 cms shorter.

Securing Your Tarpaulin

To get maximum life span from your tarpaulin it is always recommended to securely fasten it. Additional eyelets are available on our Accessories page.

We always recommend using bungee products to secure our tarpaulins. We do not recommend using rigid fixings, such as cable ties or metal hooks, as these can place excessive strain on individual eyelets. To ensure the load is distributed evenly and to minimise stress on the tarpaulin, we recommend using all available eyelets when securing the cover.
