Canvas Dust Sheets

Our cotton canvas dust sheets comply with the OEKO-TEX standards and are free from harmful substances. The premium grade of dust sheet is fully washable, re-useable, 3.5kg in weight and available in the popular 9ft x 12ft size.

Please note: All our cotton canvas dust sheets are ‘cut sizes’ which is industry standard terminology for the size of the material before it is fabricated into a dust sheet. Therefore, the finished size can be up to a maximum of 30cm shorter.

The Uses of Cotton Canvas Dust Sheets

Cotton canvas dust sheets are durable, heavy-duty and suitable for protecting floors, furniture and surfaces during painting, decorating and renovation work. The thicker materials make them well suited to areas where greater protection is needed against dust, paint and debris.

Canvas dust sheets can cover carpets, hard floors, staircases and large pieces of furniture and are designed for demanding projects and full renovations.

As canvas dust sheets are heavier than twill and calico alternatives, they are suited to jobs where durability and surface protection are the main priorities. Making them a perfect choice for builders, decorators and other tradespeople.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a dust sheet?

A dust sheet is used to protect floors, furniture, and surfaces from paint splatters, dust, dirt, and general mess during decorating or renovation work. Cotton dust sheets are particularly effective because they are absorbent, don’t easily tear, and can be reused multiple times.

Can cotton canvas dust sheets be washed?

Cotton canvas dust sheets can be washed, usually on a cool or gentle cycle depending on how soiled they are. Washing helps extend their lifespan and maintain hygiene, especially if they’ve been used in dusty or paint-heavy environments. Always check for any paint or chemical residues before washing.

Are cotton canvas dust sheets reusable?

Absolutely! The sheets can be reused as much as you like but washing is recommended to expand the lifespan of the sheet, especially when carrying excess dirt.

Are cotton canvas dust sheets waterproof?

Cotton canvas dust sheets can absorb small splashes, but liquid can eventually soak through if left on the surface.

Can cotton canvas dust sheets be used on furniture?

Yes, although due to their weight they shouldn’t be used on delicate furniture.

Can cotton canvas dust sheets be used on floors?

Yes, our cotton canvas dust sheets are perfect for all floor types to protect them from spillages and debris.
