About Our 250gsm Heavy Weight Green/Brown Tarpaulins

The green outer surface and brown underside allow the tarpaulin to blend naturally into outdoor environments, making it particularly well suited to gardens, farms, woodland areas and other applications where a more discreet covering is preferred.

Despite their heavy-duty construction, they remain easy to handle and offer an economical alternative to canvas or PVC covers.

Heavy Duty 250gsm Construction for Reliable Protection

Made from heavy-duty polyethylene, the 250gsm tarpaulin features a tough 14 x 14 woven construction for added strength and durability. The material is waterproof, rotproof and shrinkproof, helping to maintain reliable protection in changing outdoor conditions.

A 3% UV inhibitor is incorporated into the material, helping to reduce the effects of prolonged exposure to sunlight. Each tarpaulin is also covered by a limited 1-year warranty against UV failure when used in UK conditions.

*The warranty is subject to use in UK conditions only, and does not cover wear and tear or weather damage, but warrants the cover against UV failure for 1 year from invoice date. 

Secure Fixing and Reinforced Corners

The tarpaulins feature 12mm aluminium eyelets positioned at 50cm intervals around all four sides, providing plenty of fixing points for securing the cover. The corners are reinforced to provide additional strength at areas where tension can be placed on the tarpaulin during installation.

We always recommend using bungee products to secure our tarpaulins. We do not recommend using rigid fixings, such as cable ties or metal hooks, as these can place excessive strain on individual eyelets. To ensure the load is distributed evenly and to minimise stress on the tarpaulin, we recommend using all available eyelets when securing the cover.

These tarpaulins are produced to finished size. While there can be a slight manufacturing tolerance, we would not expect this to exceed 5cm.
