About Our 270gsm Heavy Weight Black/Silver Tarpaulins

Although fabricated from a heavy weight polyethylene, these hardy covers remain manageable and easy to handle, as well as a waterproof barrier against a range of weather conditions.

The material is also rotproof and shrinkproof, making it well suited to applications where the cover needs to remain outdoors for extended periods.

The 16 x 16 weave provides a tough construction, while the 3% UV inhibitor incorporated into the lamination helps protect the material from the effects of prolonged exposure to sunlight.

*Each Black / Silver 270gsm tarpaulin is sold with a limited 18 month warranty against UV failure. The warranty is subject to use in UK conditions only, and does not cover wear and tear or weather damage, but warrants the cover against UV failure for 18 months from invoice date.

270gsm Heavy Weight Silver / Black Uses

The reversible black and silver design provides flexibility in how the tarpaulin is used, with the silver side reflecting sunlight, preventing heat from building up beneath, while the black side absorbs warmth.

Securing Your Tarpaulin

We always recommend using bungee products to secure our tarpaulins. We do not recommend using rigid fixings, such as cable ties or metal hooks, as these can place excessive strain on individual eyelets. To ensure the load is distributed evenly and to minimise stress on the tarpaulin, we recommend using all available eyelets when securing the cover.
