One Tonne Bags
One Tonne Bags are also known as builders’ bags, dumpy bags, FIBCs (flexible intermediate bulk containers) and bulk bags. This versatile product is traditionally associated with the construction industry for the storage and transportation of sand and aggregate. One Tonne Bags are also used in the farming sector for the carriage of fertiliser, waste, and agricultural products or domestic uses especially in the garden for recycling and garden waste.
We offer a mini bulk bag at 50cm x 50cm x 50cm, and a130gsm bag at 86cm x 86cm x 86cm with a 5:1 safety factor rating. This means that each bag is fully certified for a single trip at a load of 1000kgs; however, you can of
course then continue using them in a wide number of applications. Each dumpy bag comes with a stitched certificate.
Tarpaflex One Tonne Bags have an open top and flat bottom, reinforced stitched seams and 4 reusable lifting loops stitched onto each top corner. This makes for easy carriage with a forklift, or for use as manual handles. Easy to clean and fold away for convenient storage.

Mini Bulk Bags
Tarpaflex Mini Bulk Bags are 50cm x 50cm x 50cm and are fabricated from 130gsm polypropylene. Our mini bags have a safe working load of 500kgs; however, you can
of course continue using the bags in a wide number of applications. Each dumpy bag
comes with a stitched certificate.
Mini Bulk Bags are commonly used in the construction industry for the storage and

for recycling and garden waste. They can also be used in the farming sector for the
carriage of fertiliser, waste, and agricultural products.
Our Garden Waste Bags have a 90L capacity, an open top and flat bottom,
reinforced stitched seams and 2 reusable lifting loops stitched onto two sides. They
also have a lifting loop on the base for easy emptying. Easy to clean and fold away
for convenient storage.
Polypropylene Sandbags
Our polypropylene Sandbags are traditionally used to assist in the prevention of
flooding. With more instances of flooding across the UK, sandbags have become a
key product for homes and businesses in case the worst should happen. They can
be used alongside a tarpaulin, to waterproof and seal sandbag barriers.
Sandbags can also be used to weight items down, including tarpaulins and road
signs. Tarpaflex Sandbags are 76cm x 33cm and are white in colour with a tie for
sealing.
Each sandbag is supplies empty, complete with attached string to seal the open end
once the bag has been filled. It is recommended not to overfill sandbags; to fill to
two-thirds is considered sufficient to mould the bag to a doorway or stack atop other
sandbags. Tarpaflex Sandbags will comfortably hold 15kg.
Available in packs of 10 or bales of 1000.
Hessian Sandbags
Our 100% natural Hessian Sandbags are traditionally used to assist in the
prevention of flooding.
Hessian sandbags are fabricated from jute, which as a natural plant product is fully
biodegradable. For longer term requirements our rotproofed hessian bags are
recommended.
Hessian sandbags can be used to weight items down, including tarpaulins and road
signs. They also have good impact-absorbing properties for use in defence, shooting
range and paintballing applications.
Tarpaflex Hessian Sandbags are 76cm x 33cm and are a natural tan in colour. Each
sandbag comes empty, complete with attached string to seal the open end once the
bag has been filled. It is recommended not to overfill sandbags; to fill to two-thirds is
considered sufficient to mould the bag to a doorway or stack atop other sandbags.
Rotproof Hessian Sandbags
Rotproof Hessian Sandbags are traditionally used to assist in the prevention of
flooding and can be used with tarpaulins to help waterproof and seal sandbag
barriers.
Hessian sandbags are fabricated from jute, which as a natural plant product is fully
biodegradable. Our Rotproofed version has been treated and will last longer in
inclement weather conditions.
Each sandbag is supplied empty, complete with attached string to seal the open end
once the bag has been filled.

Rotproof Hessian Sandbags are 76cm x 33cm and are a dark green in colour.
