Tarpaflex get ready for Spring, with new Shade Sail Nets

As that time of year approaches when the clocks are set to spring forward, we at Tarpaflex are ready for those lighter evenings. We can't wait for the Bank Holidays that the Spring has in store for us, and it's not just because we get time off work!

With the introduction of the new Shade Sail Net range, we are ready to transform our gardens and liven up our patios with these bright splashes of colour. What's more, our Shade Sail Nets are made from UV-treated open-weave polyethylene, which blocks 85% of harmful UV rays. Cheer up your childrens' play areas while protecting them from UV!

Shade Sail Nets can be used as awnings or canopies in your garden, but they are also very popular in public playgrounds and schools. You may also have seen them offering shade to patrons in eateries and bars, as a trendy alternative to umbrellas or parasols.

Available in three colour options of green, blue or yellow, and in a Quad or Triangle shape, the outer edges of the Sails are gently curved to add to their overall aesthetic appeal. Heavy-duty nylon webbing runs along the outer perimeter of each Sail, and they can be suspended from the stainless steel D-rings that are double-stitched into each corner.

We also sell handy hardware kits to aid with the fixing of Shade Sail Nets, for applications where the Sails are to be secured to a wall or structure. These convenient kits contain all the stainless steel hardware you need, with separate sets available for the Triangular and Quadrilateral options; once fixed in place, simply attach the Sail using the pre-fitted D-rings at each corner.

Precaution: upon assembly and attachment ensure all structural supports and attachment points are sound. Make sure all mounting plates are tightened securely. Should high winds be predicted, it is recommended that the sail be taken down.
