Tarpaflex Offers UV Warranty on HD Poly Tarps

The Great British weather can be unpredictable at times. With the past year's El Nino conditions providing a wetter than average Winter here in the UK and the forecast of a possible La Nina to follow later in 2016, we want you to feel assured that our products can withstand the rigours of everyday use whatever the weather may bring.

Not only are our tarpaulins ideal for use as wet weather protection, they can also provide shelter or sunshade cover throughout the summer months too. We have therefore been working on ways to improve our products so that we may provide you with an unprecedented level of satisfaction this year.

For that reason we are excited to announce that some of our heavier grade tarpaulins will now be supplied with a limited UV warranty. While our warranty does not cover for misuse, rips or tears; it will provide you with the peace of mind that the tarpaulin should not degrade under 'normal' weather conditions within the Northern Hemisphere. If it is the case that you experience degradation within the warranty period, we will replace the product without delay.

Here is an outline of the tarpaulins now available with a UV warranty and the warranty period offered:

Green/Brown 250gsm - 1 Year Limited Warranty
Black/Silver 270gsm - 18 Months Limited Warranty
Blue/Beige 350gsm - 2 Year Limited Warranty
Olive Green PVC 560gsm - 2 Year Limited Warranty

Not only are these four product lines now covered with a UV warranty, they are also being produced to finished size. Historically all of our tarpaulins have been made to a cut size. This is an industry standard terminology for the size of the material before it is finished with hems and seams. It is typically correct that you would lose up to 30cms off the cut size measurements and we appreciate that this tolerance can be detrimental to the application the tarpaulin is being put to. So, we decided to cut out the confusion and supply a finished size product with only a slight 3-5cm tolerance. We are confident that this small, but effective change in sizing will make purchasing the right product a whole lot simpler for our customers.
