|Mud Pack Challenge 2017 proudly supported by Tarpaflex|
Back in 2014 Tarpaflex joined forces with the Hospice of St Francis, a charity that 'provides professional support and care for people with life shortening illness'.
Each year the hospice hosts the Mud Pack Challenge, and this year the Tarpaflex Team were pleased to once again support the hospice in their fund raising.
The Mud Pack Challenge is a 5 mile obstacle course, requiring participants to slide, jump and wade their way through. In the name of fun, the event is also a fantastic fundraiser for the charity, and the mud pack challenge continues to go from strength to strength.
A source at the charity commented: "A record 900 mudpackers braved the filthy mud and obstacles and became warriors for a day filled with mud, laughter, teamwork, friendship and fantastic fundraising. So far, they've helped to raise over £120,000 for the Hospice of St Francis - a figure that's testament to how great the event was. Collectively the support of businesses who have provided their services/material/products free of charge for our Mud Pack, such as yourselves, have saved the Hospice a whopping £25,000! This means that the money raised by our Mud Packers will go directly towards the expert care we provide to those living with life-limiting illnesses in Herts and Bucks."
