Thank you for your patience and understanding and we hope to be back up and running with online orders soon.
Following the on-going Covid-19 pandemic, we would like to take the opportunity to offer everyone some reassurance, both in regards to us operating as a business, as well as the measures we currently have in place to maintain the safety and wellbeing of our staff and visitors.
Please note!!: due to the current situation we cannot guarantee next day despatch or despatch within the time frame stipulated on your order. Unfortunately as a consequence of greatly reduced staffing levels and a large increase in orders we cannot guarantee that we will be able to despatch to advertised time frames so lead times will be extended, however we will of course do our best. Please also expect delays with our couriers delivering your goods as they are also working under difficult conditions. We thank you for your understanding and your patience is appreciated.
Warehouse, Office, Despatching
In line with the UK government advice, our office and warehouse in Northlew, Devon is remaining open. We are currently operating on reduced staff numbers so there will delays in responding to queries and processing orders. However we are doing our utmost to provide the service levels we normally offer, and where possible we are putting measures in for staff to work at home. Our courier service is still operational, we use nationwide carriers such as FedEx, DPD, TNT and DX Freight however please be aware that their systems may also be under strain so your patience with deliveries is appreciated. Delivery times are currently an approximate and please factor a delay of a day or two.
As per Government advice, strict measures are still in effect - this includes 2m distancing policy and regular, thorough washing of hands, both to be adhered to at all times. Staff and courier drivers have access to hand sanitiser, disinfectant spray and protective gloves at multiple points throughout the premises. We are not accepting any customer visits into our office without an order being placed prior to collection, please ensure you contact us before visiting our premises and adhere to government guidance on travelling. Orders will be made available for collection either outside our office or in the warehouse.
Supply Of Goods
As a direct importer we hold significant stocks of most of our core lines. Our stock holding can occasionally come under strain during normal business conditions and this will be tested even more with worldwide disruption to trade. However we have regular shipments of containers arriving over the coming weeks so currently we do not foresee any major disruption to supply. As of 28th March we do have two shipments from India which are currently waiting in port ready to be shipped, as their ports are in lockdown there may be a few product lines which we experience some temporary out of stocks. Nevertheless we would like to reassure our customers that our stock holdings and future stock arrivals are, in the main, good.
Currently, we have nobody within the business showing any symptoms of the virus, and would like to stress that our employees' safety and that of visitors to the site is of the greatest importance to us. We are continuing to support and care for our staff to the best of our abilities. These are concerning times for everybody, and we understand that fear and apprehension can affect us all in different ways. We would also like to thank our employees so far, for their resilience and commitment to helping the business stay operational in these challenging times. We would also like to pay tribute to all frontline workers, especially within the NHS, many of whom are working in extremely difficult and harrowing circumstances.
Our sympathies are extended to anyone across the world affected by the virus and perhaps this tragedy may be a wake up call on how we are currently treating the natural world.
We wish everyone good health.
